Preparing for a life time adventure - The first step to try conquering all the major rivers in each continent

Richard Webb and Simon Storm are tackling the Mighty Zambezi River over the December and January Holidays from the 8th Dec to the 20th Jan in hope to raise funds for the SA Guide Dogs Association www.guidedog.org.za

All Funds raised will go to the SAGA foundation and any help will go a long way to so many people who depend on the help of a guide dog:

This is a private trip and self funded – we are doing this for the love of adventure while trying to raise awareness and raise funds for the SAGA

The Total length of the Zambezi is a wide debate and no real GPS tracking has taken place leaving the range from 2700kms - 3200kms.

We intend to document the Flora and Fauna as well as take a series of photos along the River and accurately document the true length of the Zambezi. Our goal is to kayak between 50 – 70kms per day and find accommodation along the shore line.

We will be posting hopefully everyday to keep you update on what the day turned out to be, granted there is 3g or any connection at all.

We will mainly post pictures and maybe a few video clips of the trip

Wish us luck, we are going to need it
